Bristol Primary Tutoring Service

Teaching Your Child is based in South Wales and is able to offer flexible one-to-one tuition for children aged between four and eleven years of age. Regular tuition will enable your child to progress quickly with increased confidence.

We place a high importance on learning style. We believe every child learns differently so activities and tasks will be designed to be fun and creative. We aim to work with your child and find the best approach so tutoring sessions are successful and challenge your child to achieve their full potential.

Subjects and Levels

We are able to offer tuition in the following subject areas

  • Early Years Foundation Stage  - All Early Learning Goals (Prime and Specific)

  • Key Stage 2- All Subjects area

  • Phonics sessions incorporating the Jolly Phonics approach and scheme.

  • Reading Support for English as an Additional Language (EAL) Learners 
  • Specific support for those children with Special Educational Needs

Tutor Credentials

  • MA in Education
  • BA (HONS) Primary Education (First Class Honours Degree)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with 'Outstanding' across all teaching standards.
  • Forest School Leader Qualification Level 3 
  • National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination 
  • Edexcel Level 3 BTEC National Certificate and Diploma in Early Years
  • Enhanced CRB
  • Proof of all qualifications
  • Teaching experience across Nursery and Primary age groups.
